Gods Image our Likeness
Gods Image our Likeness
TOPIC: The Sanctity of Human Life
Evolution teaches that there is no need for God, because there is no God.
So there is no accountability to God. There are no higher moral standards; we can do whatever we want.
“They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind.”
Nothing is more important than a foundation when you build a house. It’s the most important part of the structure.
Genesis 1-11 forms the foundation of our faith, forms the foundation of our need for a Redeemer.
Yet it is under attack today.
Even Christians believe these chapters are myth, allegory and not historically true.
They don’t really believe there was an Adam and Eve or the Garden of Eden or Noah and the Flood. But without this foundation, the structure crumbles.
Wayne Grudem, in his excellent book, Systematic Theology, said, “If ever we deny our unique status in creation as God’s only image-bearers, we will soon begin to depreciate the value of human life. We will tend to see humans as merely a higher form of animal, and we will begin to treat others as such.
We will also lose much of our sense of meaning in life.” How true that is.
All the chaos, all the wickedness, all the evil that is going on in our culture today we can trace back to the fall of man, to the sin of disobedience in the Garden of Eden.
The death, sin, corruption, sorrow and all the suffering go back to that point.
Evolution teaches that there is no need for God, because there is no God.
So there is no accountability to God.
There are no higher moral standards; we can do whatever we want.
“They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind.”
A. Mankind’s IS UNABLE TO KNOW HOLINESS OUTSIDE HIMSELF
B. Mankind’s VALUES ARE A DOWNWARD SPIRAL OF DEATH AND CHAOS
C. Mankind’s VALUES IS A EMPTY PURSUIT OF SERENITY
GOD’S Sanctity in our life, Means holiness of life and character. Also Godliness and Holiness
Genesis emphasizes the unique value of humankind when it says, “So God created man in His own image” (Genesis 1:27).
This verse emphasizes the unique nature of humans as reflections of God's likeness.
This truth shows that people are set apart from the rest of creation.
The original design calls us to revere life, treasure relationships, and reflect the moral qualities of the One who fashioned us.
God creative reveals our inherent worth, purpose, and spiritual identity.
Humanity was designed to reflect God’s nature in the world.
This divine image is not merely about physical traits but speaks of authority, morality, creativity, and relational capacity. Understanding this identity is key to living in dominion, dignity, and destiny.
1. WE ARE MORAL BEINGS. GOD IS HOLY. HE SAYS TO US, “BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”

GOD’S LIKENESS SHOULD BE OUR PERSONALITY.
God is a personal being and so are we.
Humans are the only species that blush, become embarrassed
That means we have self-consciousness, self-determination, self-awareness and we have a mind, emotions, a will and we can think abstractly.
IF YOU DON’T STAND FOR SOMETHING, YOU’LL FALL FOR ANYTHING
We are under spiritual attack, and must have a dedication and commitment to fight against evil all around.
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
In this day and age of spiritual age of darkness we must represent The Beauty of God
The truth and of God has to be displayed, spoken, and demonstrated.
